The Winds of the Mountain Empire, a wind ensemble in residence at Mountain Empire Community College will present its second annual performance at the Goodloe Center on the campus of Mountain Empire Community College on Sunday, July 15 at 4:00 p.m. The concert will feature prominent works composed or transcribed for band by J.S. Bach, Jack Stamp, Jan Van der Roost, Samuel Hazo, Clifton Williams, Morten Lauridsen, Andrew Boysen, and Jacques Press. Admission is free.
